Sauci AI (“Company,” “we,” “our”), operated by REGNEXT EOOD (UIC 208608387), Str. George Washington 13, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria, respects the intellectual property rights of others. We expect all users to do the same.

This DMCA & Copyright Infringement Policy (“Policy”) describes how copyright owners may report alleged infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how Sauci AI handles claims, counter-notices, and takedown procedures.

This Policy applies to all uses of:

  • sauci.ai
  • associated applications or interfaces
  • AI-generated text, images, audio, and video
  • user-uploaded prompts, metadata, character descriptions, and profile fields

1. Important Note About AI-Generated Content

All characters, images, videos, and interactions on Sauci AI are AI-generated.

Sauci AI does not host or distribute:

  • user-uploaded photographs
  • user-uploaded videos
  • real-person likenesses

However, users may submit prompts or descriptions that unintentionally resemble copyrighted works. In such cases, Sauci AI complies with the DMCA and removes infringing material when properly notified.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on Sauci AI infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA Notice containing the following:

Required Elements (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including URLs or screenshots sufficient for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

4. What Sauci AI Does After Receiving a DMCA Notice

Once a valid DMCA Notice is received, Sauci AI will:

  • Acknowledge receipt
  • Review the complaint
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who generated the content
  • Record the incident internally for legal compliance
     

We may also restrict or suspend accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Counter-Notice Procedure (For Users)

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was incorrect or mistaken (e.g., you have the right to use the material), you may submit a Counter-Notice.

Your Counter-Notice Must Include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and its former location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United States (specifically the Federal District Court for the district where you live, or Delaware if outside the U.S.).
  6. A statement agreeing to accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA Notice.

6. Restoration of Content

Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, Sauci AI will:

  • Forward the counter-notice to the original complainant
  • Restore the removed content after 10–14 business days, unless the complainant informs us they have filed a court action seeking to block restoration

We reserve the right not to restore content if it violates other Sauci AI policies (e.g., Prohibited Content Policy, Underage Policy, Terms of Service).

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Sauci AI maintains a strict repeat infringer policy.

A “repeat infringer” may be defined as a user:

  • with multiple valid DMCA complaints
  • or who repeatedly attempts to upload or generate copyrighted content without authorization

Actions may include:

  • account suspension
  • permanent account termination
  • blocking access to the service

8. Misuse of the DMCA

Submitting false or fraudulent DMCA Notices or Counter-Notices can result in:

  • legal liability
  • termination of account access
  • reporting to authorities

The DMCA requires all claims to be made in good faith.
